Urshila Durani, MD, MPH

About Dr. Durani

Dr. Durani is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist with expertise in lymphoma, stem cell transplantation, and CAR T-cell therapy. She earned her BA, MPH, and MD from Northwestern University and completed her residency and fellowship training at Mayo Clinic and City of Hope National Medical Center.

Recognized for both clinical and academic excellence, Dr. Durani has received honors including the Angela and Anne V. Marinelli Endowed Fellowship and the Tow Tan Humanism in Medicine Award. She has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and plays an active role in advancing the field through her work with the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. In addition to her research and clinical work, she contributes to medical education through curriculum development, journal review, and mentorship.
