Dr. Fenske is a professor of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he has practiced since 2005. He received his medical degree and a master’s degree in cell and molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine. He then completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology at Washington University in St. Louis/Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
Dr. Fenske’s clinical and research interests focus on the treatment of lymphoid malignancies, including the use of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and cellular and transplant-based approaches. He has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed publications, invited reviews, and book chapters.
He currently serves as a member of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) Lymphoma Steering Committee and is the former co-chair of the CIBMTR Lymphoma Working Committee. Dr. Fenske is the national chair or co-chair of two ongoing NCTN clinical trials in lymphoma.
